About

Anthony Casolari is a multi-instrumentalist, and awarding winning composer based out of Denton, Texas. Known to typically hold down the lowend in the groups he plays in, he is also well versed on many instruments. No matter the occasion, Casolari strives to perform his craft at the highest level.   

As master's grad from the University of North Texas, he studied with Lynn Seaton, and Gudrun Raschen.  He played, toured and recorded with the One and Two O'clock Lab Bands.  You can hear him play on "Lab 2024" with the One O'clock, and "Born Two Swing".  He worked as a Teaching Fellow for the Jazz division and taught Applied Bass lessons, and coached several jazz combos.  He also was a teaching assistant for Jazz Improvisation, Jazz Ear Training, Jazz History, and Jazz Bass Performance Fundamentals.

Casolari has had the opportunity to exist in many sonic spaces throughout his career. Known for his work in the jazz realm, he also has held down the lowend for worship artist Breanna Nix (3rd Place finalist on American Idol Season 23), country Cash Byers and Big Valley, and reguarly performs around the DFW area in various groups of his own like The AC Unit.
